1. The inception of Derewala was in the year 1987. This is the year when Derewala launched itself as craftsmen of elegant jewellery. The office during that year was a 10’x12’ room in the walled city of Jaipur.
  2. In 2004, Derewala had put another feather on its cap by adding the mechanical finding section. They also extended by adding another factory in the Special Economic Zone.
  3. In 1994, Derewala received its first acknowledgement and was awarded ‘Export Excellence Award’ by the Government of Rajasthan for promoting business in the state.
  4. 2008 was the year when Derewala acquired brands and assets of four Italian companies to further expand its product portfolio. Introducing machinery, hired Italian engineers and technicians, Derewala managed and trained the workers in the Indian factory. The brands acquired by Derewala includes but not limited to Pluvioro, Milaan, Metalorafa, Orofranco, Sicor and Vilor.
  5. Derewala established its first casting unit in Sitapura Industrial Area, Jaipur in 1997. On a stretch of 45,000 square feet area in phase 1, the casting unit of Derewala ensured consistent quality products crafted to perfection.
  6. This is the year, when Derewala introduced fashion jewellery and expanded its portfolio beyond gold and silver. Within few years, Derewala started supplying to major brands in the U.S. and Europe.
  7. Derewala has always aspired for continual improvement through its dedication and innovation. In 1999, they added tubing, milling and stamping division in another 40,000 square feet area in the same factory premises.
  8. In 2013, Derewala added another 8,500 square feet to its corporate office and welcomed more professionals
    into the team.
